Amateur Requirements

2025 Amateur Year End Award Requirements

Important information for amateurs for 2025! As many of you know, the Amateur club is working hard to fund many great prizes for our year end awards program. To continue this great tradition, we ask that the amateurs do one of the following this show season:

1. Obtain a $100 NW Emerald Buckle sponsorship or sponsor one yourself. We prefer to obtain sponsorships by August 1st.
2. Bring an auction basket for our silent auction held at The Trophy Circuit or Ranch It Up. 
3. Volunteer 4 hours at one of our shows.
4. Bring a dessert to the dessert auction at the 2025 WSQHA Convention Banquet

By completing one of the above tasks, you will have fulfilled your amateur awards requirements and will be eligible for year-end awards, provided you have the necessary points.

Kim Huizenga will be keeping track of activities completed toward year-end award requirements. Please keep her up to date on what you have done by e-mailing her at kim.servoss@gmail.com or catch her at a horse show.

VERY IMPORTANT: All year end award requirements must be completed and presented to Susan by the last day of The Emerald. No exceptions.
