Amateur Requirements
Important information for amateurs for 2026! WSQHA Amateurs are working hard to fund great prizes for our 2026 Year End Awards Program. To continue this tradition, we ask that all amateurs complete one of the following requirements during the 2026 show season.
- Obtain a $100 sponsorship or sponsor a class yourself. We prefer to obtain sponsorships by August 1st.
- Bring an auction basket for our silent auction held at The Ranch It up or Trophy Circuit.
- Volunteer 4 hours at one of our shows.
- Bring a dessert to the dessert auction WSQHA Convention Banquet.
By completing one of the above tasks, you will have fulfilled your amateur awards requirements and will be eligible for year-end awards, provided you have the necessary points.
Kimberly Huizenga will be keeping track of activities completed toward year-end award requirements. Please keep her up to date on what you have done by e-mailing her at kim.servoss@gmail.com or catching up with her at a horse show.
VERY IMPORTANT: All year end award requirements must be completed and presented to Kim by the last day of The Emerald. No exceptions.
